DNA TESTING

DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid. DNA is made up of four basic units, A (adenine), C (cytosine), G (guanine), and T (thymine). These small molecules are the building blocks of life. A, T, C, and G fit together in such a way as to make each person unique. With the exception of identical twins, no two people have the exact same genetic code. Each cell of the body contains DNA organized into 23 pairs of chromosomes. Each chromosome contains thousands of genetic markers or "genes". One chromosome from each pair originates from the father and the other chromosome comes from the mother.

Through DNA testing, we can determine the parental origin of our genes and genetic markers. At times we desire to confirm our familial relationships. This may be needed for paternity/maternity validation, sibling associations or establishing estate/inheritance issues. Whatever your reasons for having DNA Testing done, it is a very simple procedure. At home tests are available so that you can do DNA testing in the privacy of your own home. Our site gives users links to options for their DNA testing needs. WE provide access to free DNA Testing information.
